Coming to Christ and following Him is not so easy. To follow Christ you have to leave all your belongings, all your desires.
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:24-25 NKJV . Hence you have to deny yourself and follow Christ. The way is not so easy. You cant follow your own desires and follow Christ at the same time.

Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. Luke 9:23 NKJV Hence deny yourself and follow CHrist.

Now denying yourself means you are no longer yourself. You have been Crucified with Christ and the life that you lead now actually driven by Christ. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20 NKJV

Hence all of you who want to live in Christ shall reject themselves, shall deny themselves and take up he Cross and follow Christ. Let Him drive you. Not you by your own desires. God bless you.
